Bill Nye the Science Guy · S3E20 — Animal Locomotion
Synopsis
Certain creatures possess wings, granting them the freedom of flight and effortless hovering. Others rely on legs – ranging from a pair to over two hundred – to navigate the world, whether by a steady walk, a swift gallop, or a full-out run. Some animals boast legs built for explosive leaps. And so they move: strutting with confidence, strolling with ease, slithering silently, swimming gracefully, oozing with a viscous glide, sprinting with speed, and squeezing through narrow spaces.
