Synopsis

In 18th century France, Prince Léon Dalville's life is irrevocably altered by tragedy. Once handsome and wealthy, Léon’s world collapses when his wife dies in a fire, leaving him scarred and disfigured. To hide his wounds from society, he wears a silver mask, becoming a mysterious and cruel figure haunted by torment. Bella Dubois, a naive young woman seeking work to save her father, arrives at Léon's castle as a maid. His manipulative cousin, Hélène, then challenges Léon: he must seduce and then discard Bella. As Bella navigates the castle’s complex social circles, she develops an unexpected connection with the masked prince, who hides both darkness and vulnerability. The story explores themes of love, betrayal, and redemption as Léon struggles between his past pain and his growing feelings for Bella. Despite Hélène's schemes, their interactions force Léon to question societal norms and confront his inner demons, opening a path toward finding love and acceptance even in the most desolate circumstances.
