The show had a feel similar to programs like The Waltons or The Cosby Show—without any of the humor—or even Father Knows Best. It’s essentially whatever overly sweet television sitcom comes to mind. When I was younger, I found it to be somewhat moralistic, and now that I'm older, I recognize that it still carries a preachy tone.
