Synopsis

Bourdain and his companions embark on a long-anticipated journey to Iran, traversing Tehran and Isfahan, where they explore landmarks such as Imam Square, the Borje Milad tower, mosques, and ancient caravanserai. The culinary experience features dishes like Dizi, Fesenjan, Biryani, and Tahdig. Accompanying the tour are Washington Post reporter Jason Rezaian and his wife Yeganeh Salehi, who were later detained by the Iranian government.
