Synopsis

In Libya, a vibrant current flows beneath the surface: hip-hop echoing from unexpected corners, the comforting aroma of Italian restaurants, the enduring weight of tribal loyalties, and the lingering shadows of a recent conflict. Through intimate narratives, the allure of Libyan cuisine, and the defiant rhythms of anti-Qaddafi rappers who returned home to fight, a portrait emerges of a nation grappling with its past and forging an uncertain future.
