Synopsis
This chapter concerns Garrison Courtney, a man who managed to penetrate the intelligence networks of Washington D.C. Through elaborate fabrications about directing a clandestine national security program for the CIA, the Central Intelligence Agency, he amassed $4.5 million. When his deception finally unraveled after four years of fraudulent activity, the 44-year-old Courtney was arrested and, in October 2020, received a seven-year prison sentence in federal court in Alexandria, Virginia.
