Synopsis

René found himself entangled in a painful predicament: torn between the affections of two waitresses, Yvette and Maria, and the obligations to his wife, Edith—a woman who, as his widow, held dominion over his fortune. He simply could not summon the desire to rekindle his courtship with Edith, which led her to seek solace and attention from other gentlemen in town.
