Synopsis

Mayu, a young woman of considerable means, invited Kaoru to dinner. He accepted, informing Aoi of the arrangement, though omitting the detail of Mayu’s gender. The evening led to an unexpected invitation from Mayu for Kaoru to stay the night, as she was alone. He again spoke with Aoi, carefully avoiding any mention of his host’s identity. However, a casual remark from Taeko – expressing surprise at Kaoru’s friend kissing him and noting she was female – sparked a sudden unease in Aoi.
