Synopsis

On the fourth day, our destination is Colbitz, a town just outside Magdeburg. There, Thomas, the proprietor of the "Gaststätte Zum Volkshaus," anticipates welcoming his guests. Within the charming, historic half-timbered house – a building designated for preservation – he offers hearty, middle-German fare. Thomas, along with his cook and husband, is determined to demonstrate that quaintness need not equate to dullness. Will they succeed in proving it?
