Synopsis

Following their triumph at Cannes in 1961, Luxembourg hosted the seventh Eurovision Song Contest. The stage shimmered with stars, though their brilliance was intermittently obscured by technical difficulties with the lighting in the Villa Louvigny's main auditorium. The contest maintained its participation at sixteen countries, with no new nations joining the competition. However, the voting procedure underwent a modification: the national juries, still composed of ten members each, were requ
