Each year, Japan endures an average of twenty-three tornadoes. When these storms touch down in inhabited regions – often plains or coastal areas – they frequently inflict considerable damage. Tornadoes remain among the most unpredictable weather events, and current defenses offer limited protection. However, ongoing research seeks to document the very process of tornado formation through advanced radar technology, while simultaneously developing predictive models using data gathered from ground-
