Synopsis

The design incorporates accessible features from the very start of construction. A new mechanical room is linked to the existing structure by a tunnel built of solid block, and the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning ducts are concealed beneath the ground. Following consideration of residential elevator systems, framing for one is then initiated.
