It’s possible that this is among the most amusing new comedies to appear recently. The performers are genuinely funny, and their enthusiasm carries the show from its initial moments. Jenn Lyon elicits both laughter and empathy, while Kristin Chenoweth as Tammy Istiny provides plenty of comedic moments. This is a cheerful and enjoyable beginning for NBC’s newest comedy series.
