Caroline’s urging of Bobby’s sister, Denise, to leave her job precipitates the first real discord between them, a consequence of Caroline's discovery that Denise is employed by her mother. Separately, Max's accidental reading of a text message on Bobby’s phone – one hinting at a child with his former partner, Jessica – prompts Max and Han to embark on a clandestine mission.
