This film presents a plot that's quite strong and possesses a degree of novelty. The performers are well-chosen, with particular praise due to the priest’s portrayal. I found "Vamps" thoroughly enjoyable. My only reservation concerns the use of subtitles for the English dialogue; experiencing a movie through reading feels less satisfying than hearing it.
