Blumhouse’s venture into science fiction with Upgrade proves to be remarkably good. It features unsettling plot developments, very quick motion, impressive futuristic gadgets, and a noteworthy portrayal by Logan Marshall-Green, who plays someone experiencing misfortune in both Prometheus and The Invitation.

This science fiction film manages to be quite good despite its limited resources. The plot isn’t particularly complex, and it maintains a steady pace with plenty of action sequences. I would recommend seeing it.

The preview for _Upgrade_ suggested it would be something I’d like, and now, after experiencing the film's ending, I feel confident in saying that it will likely become my top pick for the year. Final rating:★★★★ - Very strong appeal. A personal favorite.
