Having appreciated Sinatra’s ‘The Detective’, I chose to watch his older film, ‘Tony Rome,’ also directed by Gordon Douglas. It proved to be quite entertaining, and the supporting actors were excellent…particularly Jill St. John, Richard Conte, Gena Rowlands, and even Rocky Graziano, the boxer (I had previously been captivated by the Paul Newman movie about him, 'Somebody Up There Likes Me').
