The film adaptation of Michael Koryta’s novel, Those Who Wish Me Dead, begins with an intriguing idea, though it ultimately struggles due to storylines and characters that aren't fully realized. The movie is certainly impressive from a visual standpoint—the wildfire imagery in particular stands out—and the actors playing smaller roles, such as Medina Senghore, give noteworthy performances. However, the story lacks fo…

While I was really impressed with Taylor Sheridan’s earlier work as a director, like Wind River, this action-thriller doesn't have the same compelling quality found in his screenplays, such as Hell or High Water and Sicario. The movie features strong performances from Angelina Jolie (The One and Only Ivan), Nicholas Hoult (True History of the Kelly Gang), and Aidan Gillen (Bohemian Rhapsody), but the story itself fee…

I’ll share some suggestions for getting the most out of the film in a video on my YouT…

This suspense film is decent, and Angelina Jolie feels very comfortable in her role. It evokes some memories of *Cliffhanger*, particularly concerning the protagonist’s history and unfortunate events, though it manages to hold its own regardless. While not exceptional or on par with Taylor Sheridan's best work, I still think it’s worth seeing. **3.0/5**
