It's a genuinely pleasant movie, standing apart from so many others where royalty are consistently portrayed as benevolent figures. The narrative feels much more grounded in reality and is certainly appropriate for younger viewers. I think it would benefit greatly from an English-language dub, like numerous other films produced around the same time.
