Synopsis

Urbain Donnadieu's life is driven by one thing: getting rich. He married Fleurette, a tax inspector, to avoid a fine for his ongoing tax evasion. For years, he’s been secretly stealing from his construction company and collecting gold bars. His plan is to deposit this stolen money in a Swiss bank account, hidden from his wife and the French authorities. To pull off this daring plan, Urbain recruits his greedy grandmother, Zézette. They travel to Switzerland with their treasure cleverly hidden inside a miniature house on a trailer. But their carefully planned heist falls apart as Fleurette and Urbain's bitter ex-chauffeur both try to steal his fortune, leading to a series of escalating schemes.
