This film really resonated with me; I consider it delightful and captivating. There's something about it that pulls me in when the weather turns colder, likely because a significant portion takes place in Moscow. Val Kilmer’s character has an almost heroic quality, carrying the weight of past trauma. Elizabeth Shue portrays a beautiful and fragile presence that works well alongside Kilmer’s assuredness. The antagonists are enjoyable to dislike, and the action sequences feel particularly entertaining knowing everyone is enduring freezing conditions while I'm relaxing at home. It evokes a sense of longing for movies made around the year 2000, and it oddly reminds me of *Sabrina*, even if that seems strange.
