It held my attention, and the special effects were well-done, but ultimately the story let things down; it felt like they lost their way toward the finish. The conclusion didn't quite track, giving the impression that there was a promising concept which could have been resolved more effectively with a simpler resolution. It’s an admirable effort, though.
