It’s a deliberately slow burn and fairly solid political suspense film. While it doesn't quite reach the heights of classics such as The Manchurian Candidate—and I'm thinking of both adaptations—or Three Days of the Condor, it still manages to hold your attention, thanks in part to Warren Beatty’s commendable work. **3.5/5**
