Synopsis

In communist Romania as the country faces revolution, Nela struggles to find her place. Her family has always been connected to the Securitate, the country's secret police, and she questions whether to follow their path or create her own. After her father's sudden death, Nela flees Bucharest. She finds an unexpected connection with Mitica, a fellow outsider, in a small town.
