The Lost World didn’t earn the initially negative reaction it received. It's true that it doesn’t reach the heights of the 1993 film, Jurassic Park; the characters aren't as engaging and the plot is pretty silly overall. Still, it provides a good time with dinosaur scenes that are just as enjoyable. Goldblum is great. Rating: B-
