It's disappointing to think that with a few more resources—a larger budget, stronger performances, and some additional planning—_The Last Heist_ might have been exceptional. Instead, it simply manages to avoid being terrible. I enjoy crime stories that play around with familiar tropes, though admittedly, no one has executed them as effectively as _Dusk till Dawn_. Still, I’m generally open to seeing what they come up with (this year's "_Don’t Breathe_" seems promising in that regard). Henry Rollins delivers a remarkable performance; however, the rest of the cast isn't particularly impressive. While this is somewhat expected given the film's limitations, it does detract from the story as a whole. It felt like watching a machine gun fire without any kick—not enough to ruin the experience, but noticeable and distracting, with several small issues accumulating over time. The movie also had echoes of _Payday_, which I found enjoyable. _Final rating:★★½ - There was much to appreciate, but it didn’t fully succeed._
