It’s an odd piece of work. The Kindergarten Teacher manages to create some really awkward moments; I found myself physically uncomfortable while watching, which is actually something I appreciated. I'm not sure it entirely succeeds in what it sets out to do, but I enjoyed seeing how everything unfolded, and Maggie Gyllenhaal gives a fantastic performance. It earns an 8/10 because of her work.
