It’s a genuinely excellent film, the kind that doesn't come around very often these days. The narrative is strong, avoiding predictable or overly sentimental elements, and features a wonderful feline companion. Christian Bale and Amy Adams both stand out considerably, though every member of the cast delivers a fantastic performance. I am now looking forward to seeing what happens next.
