Synopsis

Silviya appears to have a flawless academic record, except for mathematics. To avoid trouble for missing class, she alters the school journal by adding a comma between the numbers 1 and 9 in the absences column. Unbeknownst to her, this seemingly small act unfairly punishes two other students under the school’s strict attendance rules. Silviya's actions expose the teachers’ misplaced trust in her as a good student, blinding them to the truth. Witnessing the consequences of her choice and her classmates' suffering, Silviya is overwhelmed by guilt.
