The story centers on Sir Anthony Hopkins’ character, "Charles," a wealthy man who crashes in the Alaskan wilderness along with his companion "Robert" (Alec Baldwin) and his aide "Stephen" (Harold Perrineau). Their location is isolated and challenging. Luckily, Charles had experience as a boy scout; he recalls how to build a fire and create a compass, so they begin their trek toward civilization with a fairly confiden…

This is a seriously overlooked action-adventure film featuring strong work by both Hopkins and Baldwin. Roughly thirty minutes into the movie, it becomes essentially a story centered on just those two actors, maintaining a very good rhythm throughout, and I don’t think anyone watching would feel let down.
