As someone who really likes James Cagney's movies and Bette Davis’ performances, I found this comedic film to be quite entertaining; it was the single time they were ever in a movie together. The other actors involved are also great, with familiar faces like Eugene Pallette and Jack Carson contributing to what makes it an enjoyable watch, even though the writing isn't perfect.
