Synopsis

The film tells the story of astronaut Spencer Armacost, who returns from a close call in space. Wanting to be closer to his wife Jillian, he chooses a quiet desk job instead of going back to his dangerous work. But Jillian starts to notice strange changes in Spencer's behavior, at first thinking it's just stress from his mission. Her worries ease when she learns she's pregnant, and the excitement of becoming parents takes over. As Jillian's pregnancy continues and Spencer's odd behavior grows, her doubts return. She tries to understand why her husband is acting so differently – is it something from space, or something else entirely? The film looks at trust, love, and who we are, all set against the backdrop of an extraordinary event that tests the strength of human feelings and relationships.
