This one’s noticeably better than the initial installment. *Terrifier 2* benefits from a strong performance by Lauren LaVera, who is easily the best thing about it. David Howard Thornton also deserves recognition for his portrayal of Art the Clown. I mentioned in my earlier thoughts on the first movie that I was hoping for more focus on the character of Art, and this film delivers on that front. Practically everything feels elevated. However, the length does become an issue. I found myself losing interest as it wrapped up; a shorter duration, comparable to the original’s, would have been ideal—going beyond two hours isn't really needed for something like this. Thankfully, there is plenty of graphic violence to be enjoyed throughout.
