It's hard to overstate how impactful and skillfully crafted this movie is. The story centers on an instance of concealed abuse involving Catholic priests in the Boston region. What struck me most was the sensitivity shown in the writing and how thoughtfully it was presented. A strong group of actors contributed significantly to the film’s emotional power, creating some truly disturbing scenes. I'm pleased that a motion picture with such significance received the Best Picture Oscar—even though I personally hoped 'The Revenant' would win. ★★★★
