It’s not unusual to see movies about gay characters growing up; there have been excellent examples already. However, this film possesses a distinctive quality—something genuine—that sets it apart. Samuel Theis does a wonderful job of presenting the narrative, and Aliocha Reinert gives an astonishing performance.
