It’s hard to watch _Sleight_ without feeling like I’d seen these plot points somewhere else, and in a more successful film. However, the fact that this is an original story is definitely a welcome change of pace, and just because another movie handled similar material with greater skill doesn't mean _Sleight_ falls short; it executes its ideas quite well. Final rating:★★★ - I liked it. I’d suggest checking it out.
