Synopsis

In the beautiful Bavarian countryside, Princess Elisabeth, or Sissi as she's known, travels to Austria with her mother and sister Néné. Néné is to marry Emperor Franz Joseph in a politically important arrangement. But when they meet unexpectedly while fishing, Sissi and Franz Joseph are instantly drawn to each other. As their connection grows, their feelings for one another challenge the expected roles of royalty.
