Several problems stood out: first, there was an unmistakable sense of judgment leveled at the wealthy characters living above, with strong suggestions they were engaged in human trafficking down below – which is truly awful. Second, the protagonist's decision to go back into the building felt completely illogical; her actions only made a bad situation worse for those trapped inside…
