This movie does a good job of bringing the familiar character to life, and Robert Downey Jr. is excellent in the role, sharing some enjoyable back-and-forth with Jude Law’s Holmes and Rachel McAdams as well. Mark Strong isn't given much to do, though. The film runs on a little too long, but I still found it entertaining. **3.75/5**
