It's rare to find a video game adaptation that feels this authentic; I can honestly say this one captures 99% of the source material. Among all such films, its accuracy is remarkable—almost unsettling. The storyline involving a group with extreme beliefs felt unpleasant, but as is often the case when adapting from a video game or book, some changes were made. Regardless, it proved to be an enjoyable film, even for someone who hasn't played the game. It works well whether you’re familiar with the original or watching it on its own merits. I briefly wondered if the movie would offer multiple endings like the game did, but unfortunately, that didn’t happen. No matter how you look at it, this is a genuinely successful film adaptation.
