Taraji P. Henson’s performance was remarkable. She portrays an assassin who struggles with regret after killing a young boy’s father. The narrative follows her as she begins looking out for the child and providing him with opportunities he didn't previously have. I approached the film with some uncertainty, but the combination of action sequences and the plot itself made it worthwhile.
