I found myself enjoying this energetic comedy more than I expected, as it blends elements of "Dr Who" with familiar romantic comedies centered around family. “Lena” (Ritu Arya) quickly becomes infatuated with the attractive and affluent “Salim” (Akshay Khanna), but her perceptive sister “Ria” (Prima Kansara) suspects something isn't right. Things are progressing too easily, too rapidly – and their usually independent sister has started wearing cardigans! The potential mother-in-law "Raheela" (Nimra Bucha, who is consistently stylish) possesses a palpable sense of threat, prompting the sisters to investigate on their own, with assistance from two school friends (whose presence feels unnecessary). What follows is generally quite amusing and fairly fast-paced sequence of martial arts scenes that incorporate dancing, fashionable clothing, breaking and entering, and even some cloning reminiscent of Dolly! The music is lively, and the film’s overall chaotic nature keeps it engaging for most of its hundred minutes. It's not something you’re likely to recall long after viewing, nor does it require a theatrical experience – but it remains a pleasant, quite improbable production that makes for easy watching.
