The idea of returning evil entities to the bodies of deceased parents seemed promising, but unfortunately, the film doesn’t do much with that concept. It feels like nearly every important event occurs unintentionally: the device malfunctions, the parents meet their end in a terrible incident, the spirits are called forth accidentally, a neighbor gets drawn into things, characters act believing they're interacting …

The movie doesn’t quite manage to be frightening, largely due to issues with the editing and poor audio quality, including the sound mix. Performances are alright, especially from the young actress who portrays 'Becca.' It's adequate entertainment for filling some time.
