Synopsis

In late 1970s Chile, during the oppressive Pinochet dictatorship, Irene, a magazine editor, tries to live a normal life while the country is in turmoil. She meets Francisco, a skilled and charismatic photographer seeking work, and is drawn to him and his involvement with the underground resistance movement. As they develop a professional and personal connection, Irene witnesses the state's brutal actions against its people. Through Francisco's activism, she gains a deeper understanding of the fight for freedom and human rights. Working together, Irene discovers her own strong beliefs and the importance of fighting against injustice. The film examines resistance, courage, love, and the challenges of living under an oppressive government. Set against the backdrop of 1970s Chile and focusing on the relationship between Irene and Francisco, the story shows how people can persevere and strive for change even in the face of hardship.
