It’s possible this film itself was the real discovery. I wouldn't say I **loved** _National Treasure_, but it certainly delivers on what it sets out to do. Growing up, I never saw this movie, and my experience is limited to just a few minutes—so I don’t have that nostalgic connection many viewers possess. Still, I think I would watch it again at some point. Even though I wasn't particularly fond of the second film, I’d probably give a third _National Treasure_ a chance if one were ever produced. _Final rating:★★½ - There was quite a bit that resonated with me, but it didn’t fully gel._
