Synopsis

When a pregnant woman vanishes after visiting a couple's garage sale, the expectant parents become the main suspects. David Rose, a model citizen who runs a garden center and is a devoted husband and father, and his wife Ivy, who has experienced two stillbirths, are particularly affected by their new neighbor Melinda’s impending delivery. Melinda disappears shortly after David gave her a tour of their home. Despite no body being found, the police, led by Detective Blanchard, focus solely on David, arresting him on circumstantial evidence that seems deliberately placed. The situation escalates when a nosy neighbor is injured while David is in jail. Their friend Theo tries to support them, but Ivy struggles with doubt, fueled by rumors of a long-standing affair between David and Melinda, and begins investigating with her best friend Jody. A more sinister crime is being planned.
