Synopsis

In the Wu Zhou dynasty, a dancer in Luoyang is murdered and becomes a vengeful spirit, causing a string of deaths. Dee, a renowned detective recently pardoned from exile by Empress Wu, is tasked with investigating the killings. However, he is assassinated on his journey back to the capital and falls from a cliff. A case of mistaken identity occurs, and a counterfeit Dee is forced to lead the investigation under the watchful eye of the Minister of State. Meanwhile, the real Dee, injured and with amnesia, unexpectedly returns to Luoyang and quickly identifies a crucial clue: a peculiar scent connected to the victims. The two Dees cautiously collaborate, combining their skills to uncover the truth behind the "female ghosts" and expose the true identity of the culprit.
