I found this to be a worthwhile experience, primarily due to my fondness for large-scale historical films featuring swordplay and my admiration for Orson Welles. The film earns significant praise because Welles ensured he directed every scene in which he appeared; that's remarkable—and his level of skill and creativity shouldn’t be restricted just so filmmaking can proceed smoothly.
