Synopsis

Bob Cratchit struggles with poverty, lacking even firewood and resorting to self-inflicted injury to write. He's forbidden from visiting the GAP, and his daughter is gravely ill, urging him to hurry home from work. That night, Aunt Helga is visited by Marley, who warns her of three spirits. The first, a disembodied head, shows her the past. The second, a colossal figure, reveals Bob Cratchit’s desperate attempts to conjure his deceased daughter. A third spirit, resembling a screaming figure, appears and attacks her; she mistakenly believes it's the ghost of the future and flees to meet her fate. The true ghost of the future appears, perplexed by her absence, and battles the screaming figure to the death. Aunt Helga remains unchanged, continuing to offer Bob Cratchit meager scraps from the turkey, which he must beg for in secret.
