Synopsis

Following his mother's death, 17-year-old Sven moves in with his father Achim, a taxi driver who divorced Sven’s mother years ago. Achim struggles to adjust to having a teenager at home, especially since Sven is withdrawn and doesn't communicate much. While Sven excels in school, Achim hopes they'll bond over time. Achim's girlfriend, Julia, is the first to notice something is amiss with Sven. She questions his close association with younger boys and lack of peers, suspecting he might be gay. The reality is more disturbing: Sven harbors pedophilic tendencies. Videos reveal the truth, shocking and upsetting Achim. Sven is devastated and remorseful. Julia suggests therapy, but Achim believes they can manage it themselves. He misjudges his son's needs; despite Sven's pleas for confinement, Achim trusts him implicitly.
